Free #TTC Walk and Talk event
Trying to Conceive is a chapter of life that can quickly become defined by its uncertainty, and overshadowed by its loneliness.
Every month contains possibility, potential, hope...and also disappointment, pain and grief if things don't go to plan.
I'd also be interested to know if any other countries and cultures are better at navigating this chapter, because my experience is that the British embarrassment around talking about body parts and reproduction definitely gets in the way of us being able to share our experience.
And yet we also know that a problem shared is a problem halved!
The people that we REALLY need around us when we're TTC are those who are also going through it - the people who have also been on the receiving end of too many questions about grandchildren, or too many baby shower invites at just the wrong time.
So I'm excited to be bringing a free Walk & Talk event to Taunton on 27th September. For all those who are navigating a pathway through fertility or reproductive health challenges, for anyone who is just starting out but is already feeling overwhelmed, and for anyone who really needs to talk to someone who 'gets it'.
We're meeting at 3pm on Sunday 27th September at the War Memorial in Vivary Park. We'll take a gentle walk around the park and stop for a cuppa when needed!
The event has been set up by Fertility Action and Don't Tell Me To Relax, and is supported by volunteers like me throughout the country. We hope you can understand that this particular event is adult-only, with no bumps or babies due to the nature of the event.
Please click to register that you're coming, or drop me a message if you have any questions.
See you there,
Debbie x
